These block printed patches are from a line of botanical patches, hand carved and printed, that are printed in somber hues of black and white.

Originally made as an expression of grief, they also represent the concept of growth out of such a space. The plants emerging from the dark soil of that time.

The series consists of Ghost Pipe, Willow Leaves, Lily, Foxglove and Asphodel.

These patches are printed on a variety of sized cloth, with the prints themselves being 6”x4”.

Printed on canvas with a wash safe fabric dye. Wash with cold water and mild detergent.
